Sunday, January 27, Mozart turned 263, and yet his music remains timeless. Subliminal connections are found in the music he wrote throughout his life.
Mozart wrote his first Symphony at age 8 (!) Curiously, he also uses the four-note horn motif found in the second movement, in the finale of the great Jupiter Symphony – his longest and last symphony.
Coincidence or not? Here’s a playlist with both Mozart symphonies so you can judge for yourself!
